I was in KL for a few days to shoot the Grand Finale of Simply Fabulous. After 3 weeks of watching the girls go through their challenges online: www.8tv.com.my/simplyfabulous, it was now finally time to see who Malaysia voted. Everything turned out quite smoothly and I even got 5 boys on stage to do a nice catwalk too!!

Big ups to the 8TV team for always being patient and so awesome to work with!! I’m really gonna miss u guys!! (So better pitch more shows for me to host so we can work together again) Btw, if you don’t already know, they’re looking for new hosts!!

Also, to all of the lovely contestants. You girls were so great on stage and I can already tell that you have learnt so much from your experience with the show. I hope this opportunity will be a jumpstart to make your dreams happen!

The show has already debuted and we’re in Episode 2 of the finalists’ Second Challenge. The girls were really excited about this challenge because every girl likes shopping! Many of them gave me the impression that they were incredibly stylish and so I had huge expectations from them. However, I don’t really have much of a say since Sazzy Falak was the guest judge. She definitely knows her stuff since being nominated for the Stylo Award at the Shout Awards this year. If there’s anyone more perfect for this Challenge, having her around was the best idea!

Hosting this show was absolutely fabulous;). There were a few hiccups along the way, but nothing good teamwork and co-operation couldn’t fix! Great to be working with some of the 8TV Production team again, including some new ones and I can’t wait for the finale coming up next month.

I know I ain’t Tyra nor am I remotely close to Kimora, but it sort of felt like ANTM minus the model-bit, injected with Kimora’s confidence in fabulousity! I’m glad I was part of this show that reveals more about the characters of these women, not solely-based on looks. Some of these girls have such amazing personalities and exude confidence beyond all expectation. Each and every one of these girls have big dreams and they are great dreams too!
