I finally went on a much needed-mini vacation to Malaysia’s wonderful getaway spot, Pulau Perhentian. The morning trip started with a 7am flight but after reaching our beach by 11am, paradise was certainly an understatement.
I managed to sneak in a couple snorkelling trips swimming with turtles and baby sharks. The water is beautiful and everything was cheap cheap! 
I was there for Wong’s bday and we celebrated with a couple bbq nights at a deserted beach… this was ultimate privacy and after a delicious meal cooked, we watched the stars and played games by a bonfire. (cue Kumbaya + alky)
