Shu Uemura Tokyo Lash Blackbook Artists

By admin

After being sun-burnt and bbq-ed out (will blog about it later), I returned back to KL to a whole new dimension of futurism. I had been waiting for Shu Uemura’s Tokyo Lash featuring Blackbook Artists Event. Last year was fantastic and this year was absolutely rocking. Yummy food, drinks and great ambience really set the mood right!

I had the perfect view on the front row with my manager Su, singer Atilia, Daphne Iking, Yasmin Yusoff and the two glowing mommies Aishah Sinclair and Amber Chia. (The gorgeous Malaysian-supermodel Ling Tan was sitting at the edge and I was too scared to ask for a pic!!)

KL does it slightly different than HK but I attended the media/editor’s event vs. a big showcase. Had oodles of fun and got to chat with my favourite people! I was hooting and hollering for mega stylist/make-up artist Stevensunny who closed the show. We last saw each other at the season finale of Maybelline’s Simply Fabulous. He was looking fabulous and was egging me on about my “new look”.

Shu Uemura lashes are definitely one of a kind and i’m notorious for bringing my own Shu lashes to shoots because u can always tell the difference! They’re crafted to look more natural than plastic-y and on top of it, the quality is there!
