Taiwan Memories

By admin

Sorry I haven’t been able to blog recently, I’ve been pre-occupied with moving from one-city to another and I’m only on Step 2 of 3 to my final destination. After a recent Skype chat with my brudder Nelly, I was reminded about my Taipei trip. After arriving in Taipei, I couldn’t believe it took me that long to visit this city. Although it doesn’t have huge skyscrapers or a pretty skyline, it felt a lot like a bit of Hong Kong and a bit of Koala Lumps mixed with a bit of Japanese influence. The food was sooo amazing and I was having different types of bubbletea every day! I love passion fruit but one of my favourites is pudding and it has been years since i’ve had good pudding bubbletea. I enjoyed the hotels I got to stay at and one even had a massive jaccuzzi that I put to good use on the last nite.

Here I am, visiting the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial

(Having a chat and making some new friends. My brother looks like he’s kidnapping the poor child!)
I got to spend lots of time with my brother and managed to score a wonderful Easy Yoga jacket/hoodie. I wish I could spend more time there, it really is a great city and the pollution isn’t as bad as Hong Kong while the street food is what I live for!

L-O-L-O-L-O-V-E – reason enough to make me jump!
I’ll be updating a little more about getting back into the Canadian lifestyle. Still gotta hustle to get my first job back in Canada, so please keep crossing those fingers! 😉
