I was invited to host a unique experience for Alo Malaysia in conjunction with International Women's Day 2026. The theme this year was Give to Gain, so I created an experience titled "The Gift of Sisterhood". It would be a 2.5hour experience to walk people through 3 experiences to celebrate sisterhood.
I could see shifts even after the first exercise where the women were able to let their guards down and connect deeply and authentically. By the end of the afternoon, we all felt closer and you could feel that the energy in the room was filled with love!
I love doing events like this because of the humanness in our interaction. In the world of AI and hiding behind a screen, it feels good to build a connection that is unexpected and welcomed at the same time.
It was a success in my books with all the happy [some teary-eyed] faces feeling connected with people they had only met for the first time.
Can't wait to host something like this again!
