You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.
This week’s quote comes from one of America’s presidents who believed strongly in morality and enriching lives with the spirit of hope and achievement. I guess this is sort of a hint to a new direction in my life. There’s no official announcement yet but I’ve been sitting feeling a huge sense of purpose and overwhelmed with my thoughts and possibilities in life.
As I sat with a couple of old friends from Toronto, visiting from Hong Kong, I shared with them this new stage in my life and both of them resonated it as my new “calling”. If the stars are aligning themselves, then I will agree and accept it as a gift from God. 🙂
