I’m back from Bali, renewed and not so tanned! (Phew! The agents and managers are probably happy knowing that!) It was a short vacation right after a small little road trip with friends on the weekend.
I got to see quite a few things while I was there but it seems like the number of tourists have really died down. The locals who depend on this thriving industry seem to be hit quite badly. Probably wasn’t the brightest thing going on this little trip while there seems to be a “recession” everywhere, but sometimes its all about the experience!
I stayed in Kuta, close to the beach and managed to check out Legian and Seminyak. It was a first time in Bali and there are always people trying to sell you something, I got suckered in once and then it was smooth sailing from there. I got to go snorkelling in Nusa Dua and checked out Turtle Island too! The turtles were definitely my highlight, i sat on a huge one and i dont think it was too happy about that.
In terms of work: I’ll be working on a short film starring Adibah Noor next week and I’m really stoked about it. The script is hilarious and I can’t wait!! I have a meniscule part, but even so, I’m excited to be part of it!! More good news soon! PROMISE.
