This is how amusement parks look like in my head.
My buddy Jon dropped by in HK to take advantage of the fact that I now reside in this city (so he had a place to slumber). Like any other tourist, he wanted to check out the amusement parks that HK had to offer, so we went to Ocean Park the first day and Disneyland on the next day.
Everyone built such poor impressions of the theme parks but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and wished I had spent more time at both of them. To my surprise, it wasn’t too far to get to either of them and was fairly easy to hitch a bus ride down. I guess seeing that I’m relating to the level of maintenance to Malaysia, anything looks better than the dilapitated rides that are always the same even if you come back 10 years later (*cough* sunway lagoon *cough*).
