String Magazine: Editorial Covergirl

By admin

Yay! It’s out!! I wrote a blog about my fabulous experience working with a great, talented team out in Vancouver – Princess at Rosewood Hotel– a few months ago and it just got published in String Magazine’s First Issue – SS12. They took one of our photos and made it into a wonderful illustration and I absolutely love it.

Predominantly shot in natural light, the photographer kept everything so simple and barely did photoshop work. You can see the imperfections but that’s how I like them. Nowadays its so easy to get carried away with the wonders of technology (I’ll admit I get a bit crazy sometimes) but I think its important to preserve as much as possible.
Sometimes I think we can’t live up to the Photoshopped arms, pore-less skin and deepened cleavage. It’s not real (at least not me) and the younger generation idolizes something that they cannot achieve alone. I’m not trying to rant, just trying to appreciate what God has given me and I am humbled by it.
Have a great weekend!
