Since my family moved to Vancouver almost 20 years ago, Mama Lian only makes her way back to the land of rubber and tin every 5 years. Luckily, I was around this time she made her way down to KL.
I’ve been trying to find time to spend with her inbetween flights, events and what nots just to sit in the house with her or spend the night. Out of the rest of my fam, I’ve been away for the longest. Been a lone ranger for the past 7 years and I forget how its like to have my mom around, even if its just for a couple weeks at a time.
I’m trying not to take it for granted, hopefully I can save up enough to get her and I a trip to Hawaii, that’s something she’s always wanted!! Be patient mom!! 🙂
