Oh do I love my job!!!
I was asked to emcee the launch of TAG Heuer’s New Global Concept Boutique in KLCC. The amazingness that is Shah Ruhk Khan would grace us with his presence as he’s one of the International TAG Heuer Brand Ambassadors and was in town to shoot Don 2. Over 300 VIP guests including media were present at the launch and all had a chance to watch as the international superstar cut the ribbon to officiate the opening of the boutique.
Frantically searching for the perfect outfit, Shannon and Caryn from Club 21 helped me out with a dress from Marc Jacobs. Isn’t it lovely?

To make sure I would have the perfect bag to go with it, Saku bag designer Nadia Amran dropped by along with her latest collection and found this beautiful clutch!

After his SRK’s arrival, Jean Christophe and Jean Marc invited me back into the store to have a wonderful chat with them. Not only is SRK extremely friendly and genuine, he’s also professional and easy-going. We all had a few laughs in the store before we decided to get on with the show!!
The after-party was held at Casbah in Hotel Mandarin Oriental and I quickly got changed to a wonderful backless dress from Louis Vuitton’s lastest collection + a stunning purple sequin clutch. (Big Thank you to Jasmine and her team for flying this down from HK!!!!) Not only did I get the oohs and ahhs, it works perfectly that this falls under the LVMH group!

I had an unbelievable night and its so sad to think that I’ll be leaving this place very soon. It was one of those moments where I had to pinch myself cuz I was swapping stories with the President of LVMH Watches/Jewelry and we couldn’t stop laughing! I told him that I hope one day I too can be among the ranks and be one of their International Brand Ambassadors, a girl can dream right?
