Yay! Another promo I worked on for Much Music, this time it was for the MMVAs. I got to work with the same director Ray Wong again and judging from the last one, I was excited to see how this would turn out! Although it was a long shoot, I was fed extremely well, so no complaints there. However, I did manage to get a weird forehead tan and have been staying out of the sun to even out my skin tone. Haha but working with lots of younger kids made me reminisce my early jobs. Then I started thinking about shooting promos ages ago, my fav one was for 8tv awhile back for the December Newbies.
Back to the gig, I didn’t know it but this would mark the end of my non-union work. I’m finally going to do union work from now on after much encouragement from my agent. I’ve had to say no to a few projects and I’m hoping that there will be other ones which I can still be able to work with. Sometimes I still feel like a newbie.
June has been good so far, juicy roles and having some Toronto fun. Will update next time I’ve got good news!! 🙂
