MuchMusic is looking for a VJ since quite a few of the VJs have moved on to bigger and better opportunities. When I think about growing up with Canadian TV, aside from Saved By the Bell and YTV, Much Music had always been part of that childhood.
When I moved to Toronto, people often asked me if Electric Circus was actually happening at Queen Street and if I’ve met Master T yet. I do remember hanging out with Glenn Lewis and talking bout his next album he was supposed to record in Philly and offering him some celery sticks when he popped by at my place in my early Tdot memories. So when this competition opened up to the rest of the public once again, but focusing on the web skills, I figured why not. I’m not the most web-savvy person but I read up about a lot of web stuff, especially since I’ve been doing my research for my new site (and Pete’s too!).
I’ll be back in Vancouver by Christmas anyways and it could be a great opportunity. Besides, one of my tv idols George Strombolopolous of The Hour started out in Much and look at what an amazing host he is!! So Canada, if its worth your while, do vote 5 stars and perhaps I’ll be back in the land of softwood lumber and beavers before you know it! Guess I’ll find out on October 13th and see what happens cuz out of the thousands of candidates, only 16 will be chosen!
