I hope everyone has been enjoying the wonderful Chinese New Year celebrations!
My Tan family (on my mom’s side) had our reunion dinner at the fancy Ritz-Carlton hotel on the eve of Chinese New Year. So grand and so enjoyable, my uncles and aunties gave speeches during the night that made us laugh and cry. Kids screaming and babies crying – oh how I always love spending CNY in Malaysia where most of my relatives are.
Aside from the “angpow” collecting i joke around about, I just love the feeling of togetherness.
Happy happy joy joy came to a sudden halt when I couldn’t get my little car started. I had to leave it at the hotel while waiting out for a mechanic to fix it. Wasn’t much luck since EVERYTHING stops during Chinese New Year (especially the first few days). I hope that’s all the bad luck i’ll have for a little while. Gonna need good luck this bunny year!
I guess it wasn’t so bad since I won RM50 from Casino de Tan!!! 😉
