Video LINK: Bersih 3.0

By admin

This year I kept my tweets and thoughts to a minimum. You can read my last year’s post HERE. Truthfully, I felt as though I didn’t know enough to keep up with arguments on either side. Reading opinions of my friends on twitter aren’t exactly credible either. You never quite know what other people’s agenda could be. Same to be said about the government and the opposition. But after watching this video above with a compilation of all Malaysians around the world supporting this movement, I felt a little embarrassed I didn’t even consider seeking out the fellow Torontonians at Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday. Why?
Despite what some others say about Bersih, this movement is about the voice of the people. Not a voice of an individual. There are too many bad than there are good when discussing the government.
BUT and there’s a big BUT, who’s to say the opposition isn’t going to do the same thing if we vote them in? The lack of choices, the lack of information, makes it almost a sad predicament for us Malaysians. Us Malaysians who work hard to get out of “third world” mentality, Malaysians who try their best to give their kids the best education, individual Malaysians who try to achieve success elsewhere yet our government keeps us back.
So what happens now?
