Harder Faster Better Stronger

(At a Shu Uemura event last month) -I can’t wait for my products to get in!! I have loads to share with u guys!!
So i’m going to be heading towards Eastern Seas again for another hefty trip to HK. This time it’ll be less chop chop and more sit sit. I’ve sorted out a place to stay, thank goodness for my friend Tasha who’s been incredibly resourceful for me! Not only will I have to relive my Chinese lessons, trying to memorize MTR Station characters and names, I’ll also be making an attempt to speak my broken Canto while the Hong Kong inhabitants laugh at my face. In addition to re-learning a language that is not so foreign, I’ll be staying with a couple Frenchies who are adamant that nous parlons francais by the time I leave.  I guess this’ll be good prep for the Cannes festival in my near future! 😉
Today I met some good people hoping to launch a big project by the end of the year. My buddy will be spearheading his and I hope he’ll make it happen!! I’m uber excited about it and I can work on my other materials for 2010. Hong Kong is a great design city and I hope I can steal a few ideas for my own execution soon! I gotta find time to plan plan plan but sometimes it’s just too busy!
I had a great time working on the first 6 webisodes for 8TV’s Simply Fabulous by Maybelline. Great to work with 8TV crew again and sit through all their antics (actually its the other way around). Did you know I used to intern in their Post-production department? I assisted with a few of the promos and it helps working in a station to learn the process of developing a successful show!

Even though I kept myself open to whatever the Universe sent to me, I trusted myself to make the right decisions in life. If it was not in alignment, I would be able to let things go and make peace with it. Learning how to honour myself above anyone else has given me clarity about how I want to create my future.

I’ll admit it has been scary because sometimes I worried if I wasn’t good enough to do so. But, I knew if I wanted to level up in life, I had to pay the price.

I’m showing my double chin to the world and I would do it over and over for her kisses. 🐕

It’s really hard to put into words what this pas It’s really hard to put into words what this past trip has meant for me. I spent nearly the entire year of 2022 working non-stop. Even when my body told me to stop, I didn’t.
I tried my best to maximise my time with the people I care about and opted for the best experiences that were of worth and value to me. It’s been 20 years since I’ve left Vancouver and I’ve never felt more at home. This has been such a beautiful time of play, discovery and bliss. 😍

I saw this scripture during service and it was a good excerpt to anchor what I’ve been feeling over the past few months. I’m not chasing earthly possessions or the kind of clout I need from others to feel whole. I’m heading back to KL armed with a different perspective. I’m finding more peace and more joy in the little things in life. It’s a new level of exciting. 🙌🏻
